Re: another cleanup question

IN our district, each student is requred to bring a box of wipes to school.
I go to the grade levels and take what I need. Maybe your PTA could buy wipes
for you at a local Sams or other store. Wal-mart usually has cheap wipes.
INstead of kids using the sinks to wash hands, they use the wipes. I only
have one sink. The only time they use the sink is when we do clay, then I
make them wait and send as a group. If they get paint, I have them wipe as
much as possible off with a dry paper towel before washing. Speeds ups wash
time. I also keep a trash can at each table, a pencil sharpner, pencils, and
erasers. Other suppies are put out as needed.
You might also think about getting several large buckets and filling them
with water to use for clean up. Keep one empty for dirty water. JH
