<< My kids rented the movie Unbreakable the other night so I watched it. I
really enjoyed it. Have any of you seen it? Many, many of the movie shots
are
made to resemble blocks in a comic....you know, worm's eye view, bird's eye
view, sillouette, face half shadowed, etc. I think it would be a great movie
to show doing a comic lesson creating a storyboard. Any feedback on this?

My daughter worked as an intern to the locations manager on this movie last
year. She had to compile photographs taken of the various locations and then
organize them in "panoramic views." She also had to drive around
Philadelphia to the various locations and "measure" the streets to make sure
they had room for all of the equipment and trucks needed for filming.
Handing out flyers at the locations announcing that they were filming there
was also one of her jobs. She sure got to see a lot of Philadelphia while
working on Unbreakable.
