There are two ways to see archived posts from the Listserve on ArtsEdNet.
The handiest is the Talk Archives -- a resource that indexes monthly email
postings according to author, date, subject, and thread. Links to these
archive directories are *usually* available from the ArtsEdNet Talk index
page; however, those links are currently disabled so that some necessary
work can be completed on those files and on the scripts that generate
them, now that we have moved the ArtsEdNet Web Site to the new server.
They should be available again soon.
The second way to find an old post, (if you don't already have it on your
hard drive), is to use the Web Interface. This method is still available.
To use this, go to http://www.getty.edu/artsednet/Talk/talk.html and click
on the text-link "web browser" under the bulleted item titled "Via web
interface." This will take you to the Graphical User Interface for the
Listserve software (Lyris). You can then enter your email address and
password, click "Click here to enter ArtsEdNet," on the next page click
"Read Messages," and then browse the Lyris Archive or search there for
email by date or keyword(s). If you have forgotten your password, you may
click on the link "Visit ArtsEdNet without joining," and you will be given
the option of "Read Messages" on the next page also. Lyris currently has
an archive of posts dating back through November of 1999.
Thank you and have a great weekend,
