I already did this the day I got the message. I gave her two
ways to unsubscribe, and a contact at the Getty in case she had followed
the instructions and Lyris was being difficult.

Subject: Those who want to LEAVE the list...
Just realized that people who send emails to the list wanting to
unsubscribe (obviously overlooking the notice at the bottom of every
message....) might not READ any of the replies with the instructions
that we send--they may be deleting the whole mess.
I've already deleted the last (angry) request to leave, but if someone
still has it on their computer, why not send instructions to this woman,
directly, rather than to the list? Maybe she'll see it that way.
I'll try to remember to do this the next time I see a request.
