Photoshop 5.5 0r 6.0 is the best for manipulating images from scanning but
there are lighter versions and if you go to the website for Adobe, you can
apply for help in getting software and site licenses. I'm sure there are
others out there but this is fun if you learn the basics and it will keep the
imagination of high schoolers involved. If the soft ware is too Juvenile
then they will reject it.
