Use for old mini-blinds?????

Okay, I need our collective genius to work on this.... Last year (packrat that I am) I saved a couple of old mini blinds, thinking that SURELY there would be some sort of nifty thing that could be done with the plastic slats....

Well, now I'm finding myself replacing a whole house worth of mini blinds and I just can't bear to throw them all away!

I keep thinking in terms of sculpture (flexible plastic strips) but I'm open to any and all ideas.
