I cannot believe that a school could be that crass to throw out your personal
things, but to just call it stuff and assume that it has no value is not
tolerable. You need more than an apology. I would place some $ value on
those things and tell them what it was worth, then tell them what it was
worth to you. Wait for them to either apologize or make restitution. I am
truly sorry to here of this as I am going to be going through some
construction and if they through my personal things away I will make some
trouble for them. However my district has never done this and I shouldn't
assume that they will.
