Looking for a quote

HI all
I know this is like finding the needle in the haystack, but I'm looking for a
quote by Mark Rothko(sp?). I says something like- art is like getting in to a
painting and letting it take you on a trip somewhere. I was looking through all
my artist quotes today to find it, and no luck. If I can't find it here , I
probably can't find it anywhere. So what the heck ,I'm giving it a shot.
