Re: art and arthritis

You might be interested in knowing that Monet or perhaps it was Renoir in his
last years had arthritis so bad in his hands, that some one actually had to
put a paintbrush in his hands in order for him to paint....He lived to
paint...There is a 4-hr video that PBS ran not too long ago on the
Impressionists..I believe it was done by a Texas Museum..don;t remember
which, but it was very informative...and eye opening for someone (like me)
who also sufferes from arthitis..Haven't had much luck with the glucosomin
vitamin stuff...Vioxx helps and someone I know that takes Celebrex says that
helps her rheumatoid arthitis in her hands...Sometimes bengay and gloves at
night help me not be so stiff in the AM...although AM is usually the worst
part of the day,...once I have a hot shower, things begin to creak and crack,
and eventually get mobile. gladrabbit
