    Dear Arts Educators,

    In addition to ArtSites, a real time discussion group for all arts
    educators that meets on the first Thursday of the month, I have begun
    another discussion group - PAarts, which will meet on the first Monday
    of the month. PAarts is for arts educators from Pennsylvania who are
    continuing the dialogue begun at the Governor's Institute for Arts
    Educators that was held in Erie, PA. You are invited to visit TAPPED IN
    and learn more about this exciting virtual environment.

    After School Online is a TAPPED IN (http://www.tappedin.org) forum for
    educators.  The scheduled events on this Calendar are designed for
    professional development.   If you are new to TAPPED IN and would like
    to attend these ASO's, please login 10-15 minutes before the event is
    scheduled to begin.  This will allow us to get you where you need to be
    and teach you a few of the basic commands.

    Overwhelmed by the wealth of resources available, and fearful that
    students will abuse the surfing privilege many teachers hesitate to turn
    to the WWW as a curriculum aid. Working together educators can solve
    this dilemma and learn to harness the power of the Internet for
    themselves and their classrooms. Join us as we take a look at some
    examples.

    * Pennsylvania Institute for Arts Educators
    4:00-5:00pm PDT/7:00-8:00pm EDT/23:00-00:00 GMT
    Continue the rich dialogue that was begun at the PA Governor's Institute
    in July. All arts educators from music, dance, theater and visual arts
    disciplines, are invited to learn more about the Institute and the
    programs that were implemented.
