Hi Sandra,
Thanks for the Austria suggestions. King Ludwig's castles sound neat. I'll
see if I can manage to get there. It turns out that I'm also spending 4 days
in Florence!!! So that ought to be pretty exciting.
I went to the Art Educator's Forum a few years ago and loved it. I've wanted
to go ever since... but single motherhood has kept me from it.
I'm still swamped with preparations for leaving. Including the need to
unsubscribe... do you know how?

<< Kathy,
Innsbruck is wonderful. In fact I believe that Austria is the most
wonderful place on earth! We used to go hiking for 2 weeks each summer.
Seefeld is nearby, just up the mountain about a 30-40 minute drive (time
depends on how your brakes hold out!). Hiking is great there and you can
take the funicular up the mountain and hike in the snow (a great joy for
us Southerners!). The Olympic center is there as well. Lovely village!
In Germany, another 30 min drive, is several of Mad King Ludwig's
castles. Just be prepared for the long lines. The best is the one where
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was films. Can't even begin the spell the name,
something the sounds like Newwineshdine. Now you can laugh! Have a great
time and eat lots of apple strudel!
Back from Savannah and the Art Educators Forum. Great time, great art,
and everyone should look into this workshop!
