The Sister Wendy tape on "Revolution" (don't want to start another debate, now!) game me a whole new
perspective on David. I'd had no idea he was such a ... well, can't think of an appropriate noun.
Anyway, seems he signed a gazillion death warrants during the French Revolution and his "the Death
of Marat" (sp?) was his tribute to a man he felt was a hero, but who was also responsible for many
executions. Anyway, he sure could paint.
