Partridge Family was definitely early seventies. The bus was probably a
white-washed, pop media version of Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters'
psychedelic bus.
While you're at it, go for the Brady Bunch. You know, Mike Brady was an
architect.
Then there's Green Acres, which may stray from the seventies theme. But there
is a great episode that could be used as a motivational intro to modern art
and surrealism. Arnold the Pig takes up painting and becomes an accomplished
abstract expressionist. NO JOKE! It is perhaps one of the most surreal half
hours of television I have seen from that era.
