I use "Safe T compasses", orange, plastic, with a white disc that spins. It
works well for all ages (K-8th), they love it too! I can never go back to
standard compasses. They're in the art catalogs. I kept looking until I
found
them. They were at the NAEA convention exhibit last year. Sue
