The elements of design are as important to the DBAE process as any other
component. After all one of the components is production. How are students
going to produce good art without knowing how? How can they be involved in the
critical process without a strong foundation in the design principles? How can
they appreciate the products of the past without a strong foundation in the
design principles? How can they engage in philosophical discourse without a
strong foundation in the design principles?
Why do people persist in trying to limit everything they come across? Accept
the DBAE program of study for what it is. a very complete program of study
with no limitations.
