Hi all, thanks for all your ideas about the math/art and the decorations.
I'm sure I'll be adding more on both. I am interested in designing an
integrated unit on exaggeration . I plan on using this in some integration
with the literary arts. I know of tall tales, folk tales, etc. And I have
ideas on exaggeration as an art unit..but am looking for something for my
third graders and unfortunately am drawing a blank as far as ways to work it
together. I was thinking Claes Oldenburg and his exaggerated real life
objects, but I know there must be more. I'm open to any media. Perhaps clay?
ANY IDEAS would be great. Forever grateful..stephanie :)
