Lemon Computer - need advice

I have a question. Yea, I know itıs not directly art related, but Iım
growing rather desperate. On June 24, I purchased a Mac Powerbook G3 250
with a 13.3² monitor. Everything went smoothly until September. My
Powerbook G3 250 13.3² has been in for repair 3 times since the end of
September - twice in about a month. I just got it back on Monday after
the screen began flickering and showing white columnar pixels - the
beginnings of what I saw back in September. The flex cable has been
replaced AGAIN, but I am concerned that the issue - a known problem with
the 13² screen will occur again, this time perhaps close to my major
presentation date.
I have spoken to Apple customer Relations, but they donıt feel that
having the computer in 3 times - multiple times for the same problem- is
enough. What I want is a dependable computer and one that warrants the
large amount of money that I paid for it.
Are you aware of any lemon laws relating to computers?
What are my rights?
What else can I do?

Iıd appreciate the help or advice that could be given.
