A few years ago I bought a wonderful Oaxacan dragon wood carving
and noticed that there was what looked like dust under it--I cleaned
it up and was offended at my children only to find another pile of
"dust" under it the next time I looked. I finally examined it closely
and discovered little holes all over it--seems I bought some little
critters with the piece. My house is wood so naturally I freaked and
took it to the local ag guy who sent it off to find it was full of
wood boring beetles. He had me seal it up in plastic ware--air tight,
and put in a freezer for 3 months to make sure it killed the things. Sid
