Our leaning sculpture

One of my second year art students has a problem. They were asked to
create free standing animal sculptures. He chose a flamingo. It
stands, but the long neck makes it lean. We thought about adding
pussy willow stalks or thin river grass to hide extra supports. Have
any better ideas?
Oh, by the way, it is built out of crushed newspaper, masking tape,
coat hangers and wooden dowels.
Thank you in advance. C.

2.I, as an effective teacher, will address students by their name.
Another goal I chose this year.
