<< I received this from CALAA's (California Association of
Local Arts Agencies) administration office, so thought it might have a
semblance of truth to it. Sorry if it isn't. Although it does sound like
something the major phone companies would do.... If anyone out there knows,
definitely, if this is true or not - would they share the information.
I showed my principal the posts about this. She had just announced the same
thing at our teacher's meeting. She said the superintendent found this info
out from Springfield, IL, he keeps up on what's happening in legislation, so
he can notify his district when the teachers should write about any issues. My
principal said it is not a hoax, it is true that legislation is voting in 2
weeks on charging long distance rates for internet access.
