Made my trip to Barnes and Noble in downtown Pgh. I had the good fortune
of going to a free workshop on caricatures at a local school and had a
released day from school. The bookstore opens early so I went there first
and redeemed a mother's day certificate. I was able to purchase : How to
Think like Leonardo (looks interesting, but I haven't had chance to read
more than a few pages) Art Spirit by Robert Henri, Art Speak: a Guide to
Contemporary Ideas, movements and Buzzwords, 1945 to Present, how to Paint
Like the Masters and a royalty free resource of animals -only about $12
and very extensive. (have that one at school) Calendars-a uncorn art one
and some Schnauzer ones to send to friends with multiple Schnauzies

Another good source: ask your colleagues to save their old calendars and
cards that might have good pictures. Also, Dover Books has a lot of
inexpensive books and postcards of artists.

I imagine everyone knows that Barnes and Noble and other bookstores offer
teachers a 20% discount on everything that could be used for classes or
prep/. ACtually I got the discount on the Schnauzer calendars, too!
