Hi All, Saw Books written by artists at Barnes and Noble and Borders
bookstores last night.Didn't write down titles but Frank Lloyd Wright was one
of them.. Less than $10.00.
They also had a compendium of illustrations, you know the copyright free
really old engravings and such... only $12.00. It was as thick as a Sears
Calendar sale is on 50%off a great resource , but very few Art ones at the
stores I went to, picked up Georgia O'Keefe,Buttterflies and Quilts as
references, also saw great pictures in the ones on turtles and one called
Frozen In Time where insects and animals were frozen mid-leap(frog ,squirrel)
and a really great shot of a lizard with a really long tongue zapping a bug. I
have a spider and an insect calendar that boys just seem to love to look at as
a drawing reference.
Happy shoppping, don't you love when you find a cheap resource !!!
Take care all, very icy here in Pa. Christine :)
