PLEASE don't ignore the teachers that have given your son tests to prove
he is adhd. Alot of parents ignore (don't really SEE) what has been told
to them about their child. These are TRAINED teachers who know what to
look for and how to interpret the tests given. They are NOT there to
hurt you or your child, but only to help. If you are not happy with the
results, have your child tested again at another facility or school.
It sounds like your child is a "right-brained" person, with art and
music as his strong points. Your district, I am sure has qualified art
and music teachers that your child will benefit from.
Please don't runaway from the problem. Your child NEEDS help. Your
district has well trained teachers to help him. Give them a chance. How
long has it been since he was diagnoised as adhd??? As a parent, do you
see any problems at home?
