I have an important question. I have a fourteen year old son who is a
freshman in high school. When he was in elementary he got straight A's. In
jr high he started the old not turning in the homework routine, thereby
lowering his grade point average. He just flunked honors English. This is a
kid who is writing two novels. He is so smart. My husband says he could
never go to say Berkeley because of his grades in 9th grade. I once heard
that they don't look at your freshman year. What is true, if you want to go
to a big college? Or any four-year college? Thanks, Linda in NM
