Sandra,

Unaware as I have been about the goings on you speak about, you can be assured
that rude, crude, socially unacceptable people (the ones who have been writing
privately to you) come from all areas of education, not just universities.
Many university graduates, CEO's, etc., are poor spellers. Some of us just
type too fast to correct the mistakes. Some think faster than they write.
Some of us aren't on AOL and don't have the benefit of spell check! Whatever
the "beef" I hope that the wonderful people on our ArtsEdNet can keep their
heads and shoulders above the crowd and can commune with each other on a
"higher" level. We are all creative, talented individuals and should look at
things globally -- not nitpicky!

That's my rant...
