We have a very interesting schedule at Carolina Forest. We are an "education
center". We have two campuses joined at the hip. We share certain
facilities,ie., gyms, auditorium, cafeteria, administrative offices. Each of
our grade levels is in a different "house". A separate building. Our media
centers, art studios, etc., are free standing buildings also. A huge

Math and Language Arts/English are on a 4X4 schedule in both middle and high
school. The middle school 4X4 classes last all year. The high school 4X4
classes are a semester long. But they all meet every day for 90 minutes each
day. All other subjects including social studies, science, music, art,
foreign language, etc., are on an alternating block schedule with "A" days and
"B" days. I have three high school classes each day. Each class is 90 minutes
long. These classes last for the entire year. I LOVE IT!! We get so much more
done. It is wonderful.
