You didn't say what grade you taught but no matter my answer would be the
same.
How sad that the parent chose to not have her child experience other
cultures just because they are different. The human body is natural and
I'm sure we all basically look alike, so the child will be the body
sometimes. I think thought that it is better to take that one child out of
class than to deprive all the others. I too feel it's sad when the
minority dictates to the majority.
