ON:BASIC SHAPES/COPYING and ART CARTS!

ON BASIC SHAPES: Circles, squares, and triangles, are the basic shapes
of
industry. Can you find these shapes in your room? If so, come up to the
front of
the room and pick your shape (which I have cut out) , i.e. "circle" and
say: "I am a circle. I am a clock."
COLOR CODE: CIRCLE = YELLOW
SQUARE = RED
TRIANGLE = BLUE (ALL PRIMARIES)

ON COPYING: Since we can't visit St. Basil cathedral in Moscow, I have
made
a transparency which I will project for you. Pretend you are on the
square, and
draw what you see!

ON ART CART: Every four rooms should share one on a schedule. That will
cut
down on the cost of duplication of materials and supplies. And besides
it is easier
to keep track of all those felt pens, oil pastels, and scissors.
Individual art folders
stored in a box with A,B,C, separators keeps flat work clean, neat, and
where you
can find yours.
