The other way around that "probem" is to designate a generic,
non-gender term, such as "their." It wasn't that long ago that
Virginia Wolfe could not be admitted into a library because she was a
woman. We don't need to unnecessarily perpetuate gender bias in the
language we use.
maybe it's me, but I always see the BIG picture. Before I get annoyed I
always like to see how person treats "people", I mean, fair IS fair!

designation of her/his)
