I have been doing some fusing and I use our regular ceramic kiln for big
pieces and our small experimental kilns for smaller work. I use a layer of
plaster of paris (powder form) nicely smoothed down. The glass doesn't stick
and we clean our kilns and shelves with a small brush. Sometimes we bring
the tempperature up high enough to melt one glass into another. After
experimantation it is quite possible to plan the results.
