I don't advocate coloring books, but I don't advocate slamming the use of
coloring books, either. Some people seem to enjoy them. I figure there are
bound to be some benefits in their use, or at least there doesn't seem to
be much harm in them. I think there are many much better ways to learn to
control crayons, learn to draw, learn to think creatively...but in
moderation, what's wrong with a little mindless doodling? Don't you think
coloring books are a better option to just passively watching TV?
