Ken, you said to Ben,
" Your comments have made me curious. How many on this list speak English as
a second language, and if so, what is their native language. Your comments
made me realize that I may need to explain common English expressions or
other lingo unique to these countries."

I am English mother-tongue but have been living in Italy for 30 years, hence
I often don't recognize abbreviations used or understand words or
expressions which must have been invented after I left. For example, what
exactly does ADHD stand for? and excuse my ignorance but what are "bongs"?
(I'm almost afraid to ask!)

But don't worry about it.....keep writing...I love reading the ARTSEDNET and
will continue to update my antiquated English.

Ciao, Marilyn Juda-orlandi
