I have this book. It is an amazing depiction of the realities of young female adolescence in
an urban and suburban setting.
Does anyone have suggestions in reading material or verbal resources in this area?
I am doing some reading and research in developing a focus for a thesis in art education.
I am in the Doctoral program at Ohio State University and my interest is in the use of
the visual arts and media technology as a vehicle for expression for young women. I hope
to find the visual arts as a communicational tool for expressing ideas, opinions and
issues of young ladies thus assisting in there self-concept.
I appreciate any assistance.
