Ca. Site Councils!

Hi, Pat......Boy, you are SO right! Fortunately (?) I was picked for site
council duty this year and I get all the info straight from the horse's
mouth about all this moola comin' in. I think it is an excellent route for
distribution to the schools bypassing all that malarky higher up!
AND....you are so right when you said you need to be aware, involved and
active. I can't believe some schools are trying to siphon 15%.
Well......yes, I guess I WOULD believe it! That was a good idea to send out
your message. Maybe others aren't as aware of what's happenin'.

Thanks, also, for your earlier posting about the art panels. I know they
are found in these catalogs but I don't have a clue as to what to purchase.
The site council really "floored" me when it was brought up in the meeting
yesterday afternoon and we seem to be under the gun to get our ducks in a
row quickly to qualify for this in time. I feel like I'm running in circles
with one foot nailed to the floor because I don't know ANYTHING about what
works well and what panels are not worthwhile. Do you have any panels you
use in your art displays, art shows, etc.? I've never "done" an art show
with partitions....only put artwork "on walls" sort of thing. Hope someone
can help me!
