I am a student at Sycamore School in Indianapolis, IN. Recently, I have been
reading a biography about Andrew Wyeth, who I greatly admire. Because I am so
interested in his tempera paintings, I want to learn about tempera paint.
I have researched a few places, but have not successfully been able to find
out anything about this medium. I would like to know about the characteristics
and types of high quality tempera paint, as wellas gouche. I would also like to
know where I might be ableto find and purchase either prepared tempera or
powdered pigments. If you could kindly lead me in theright direction or tell me
about this material, I would greatly appreciate it.
