Re: flourpaste batik?

On our NTIEVA site, under Japanese curriculum,
there is a paste resist recipe originally published in _Surface
Design Journal_ which can be stencilled, extruded, or brushed on
fabric. It is pretty sticky, safe to use with kids, and based
on generally easy ingredients to find.

With paste resists the dyes have to be painted on the fabric
rather than the fabric dipped in the dye.
