My class made glasses out of white olk tag with baby food jar lids for the
pattern of the lenses. Then we made 6 more lenses and put red, yellow,
and blue celophane in them and mounted a set of each on the glasses with
brass paper fasteners. The kids love them because they all look like
space cadets, but they really work well to figure out what colors you get
when you mix blue & red etc. Also they work well to discuss mood--it
really is depressing to put on your blue shades and look around at
everything. You get great 3-D effects looking at brightly colored tempera
paintings we had on the board etc. Sid
