Mary,

I own the 4x5 Wacom tablet. I am pleased with its responsiveness and its
feel. The trickiest thing was to get used to the smaller working size.
Now I don't even think of this. Much of a person's decision is based on
personal preference. I'm sure both are good. I personally liked the
batteryless erasable pen of Wacom (it's the only brand that does not use
batteries) . I'm sure there are more articles comparing the two brands
but one that I found was in MacUser March 1996 p. 103. Hope this helps.
