Many of us make mistakes in spelling and use of English because in our
haste we fail to proof read our posts. You are right to judge these
mistakes as acts of carelessness. Some of us make intentional mistakes as a
joke or to be cute. If you don't see the humor, you are entitled to your
opinion. Some of us make mistakes just out of simple ignorance. May I
assume you don't? I know that I have made many mistakes on the ArtsEdNet
list and elsewhere for each of the above reasons.
I'm sorry our language use and abuse prevents you from participating in
this insightful, dynamic and spontaneous banter. I can assure you I never
meant to offend you or anyone else's sensibilities. Furthermore, I would
have no problem sharing this list with anyone who is interested. I'm sure
the content would impress them far more than the spelling and language
errors. I feel it would be safe to say my views on this are probably shared
by many who have been enjoying this list.
