I have tried washing fabric with Synthrapol..but it didn't alter the
I have been experimenting with my students over the last two years using
fabrics through the laser and dot matrix printers...my classes use an old
fractal program dating from the pre-historic era, then we put a piece of
freezer paper under the fabric (usually a lightweight canvas on which the
student has put some type of surface treatment on it such as watercolors,
dyes, etc.) and place through the laser printer....when using the dot matrix
printer we just place masking tape ontothe fabric to adhere it to the
continuous run paper... have found that there are many materilas that can run
through the printers such as aluminum foil, tulle,etc. which make for
interesting surface design..
