off-loom weaving response

Hi Steve, I also have always wanted to try cardboard loom weaving with
4th or 5th graders. Last year I ordered cardboard looms with good
intentions of putting a weaving project together and coordinating it
with a social studies unit on native americans. Unfortunately, I never
got my act together, but I still have the looms.

I will monitor the ArtsEdNet to see what responses you get from your
inquiry. Sorry I can't be of some help.

My problem is that I only have the elementary students for 30 min. every
6 days. In addition, I teach 1-12 in a small l building school with 550
students total. I'm the only art teacher. My time is very limited with
the elementary students.
