Dear Shelley, I used to do a weaving project with jr. hi where I took
baling wire (thick wire--holds its shape) and bent it around into a circle
(approx. 8 in.)
twisting the ends around each other. Then I wrapped twine around the
circle sort of like bicycle spokes. Then I started in the center with
yarn of various kinds and started weaving out toward the wire. You can
add beads or weeds or all kinds of wierd stuff. The kids liked them
although they discovered that they worked well as frisbees--I guess that's
why I quit doing it. Sid
