I found a solution to the question of "oh is that a Cat I wondered
what it was!" I use the computer to type out what I was teaching in a
catchy way, with colorful large fonts. This takes away the need for
cutting out letters. Then I ask the children to make their tape
double sticky and hang up their own art works in the hall. Because
the children hang up their own works it eliminates the amount of time
I would have to spend hanging and arranging art work. I hang the
typed explaination of what we were doing above their art works. At one
time there may be 15 explainations hung around the school.
Parents tell me that they understand the process of what the
children are doing in art class. And everyone seems to be learning
about art this way.
My principal loves it and tells me often. This keeps me going.
Also my desire for the community to see the wonderful things the
children do also keeps me going .
