The Kids' Portrait Gallery

I'm pleased to announce the opening of The Kids' Portrait Gallery located
on the World Wide Web at:

http://www.arts.ufl.edu/art/portrait/tkpg_home.html

This electronic gallery is dedicated to displaying portraits created by
kids ages 4-12. While all the portraits currently on exhibit were made by
kids from Gainesville, Florida we hope to exhibit portraits from kids in
other states and countries in the future.

In addition to seeing some wonderful portraits by kids, visitors to the
gallery will find lesson plans, suggested readings, and links to other
portrait sites on the web.

This web site is the result of a collaboration between a local art teacher,
her student teacher and myself.

I hope you all can stop by the gallery for a visit soon.
