Tin Etching

Thanks to everyone for their ideas on tin work. It is such a treat to
be stuck with a problem to solve and have so many generous souls share
their time, ideas and solutions.

I saw a cute "Mexican" tin Christmas ornament idea done by a classroom
teacher this year. Students wrapped foil around a cardboard shape,
drew section outlines with glue and colored the foil sections with
different colors of permanant markers. (I have been told that Mexican
tin artists paint the foil with car paint). Try it next year!
