HI, Jean.....There have been some excellent ideas already incorporating
foil of diff. kinds. Let me add my "two cents". I use decorator foils with
my 6th grade art classes and we integrate them with yarn, dryer lint, and
feathers into weavings on matboard. You can still find my lesson plan for
this on Ken's page, I think............
The decorator foil you can get at NASCO....Toll free # 1-800-558-9595. You
can call for a free catalog...it's on page 341 in the NEW calalog. The foil
is lightweight (38-gauge), can cut with scissors or paper cutter, we've not
had ANY trouble with cut fingers, and it comes in several
colors....Coppertone, Redtone, Bluetone, Greentone, Goldtone and Silver on
the back of each color which gives you 6 colors. You can buy a SET of rolls
which includes one roll of each color and each roll is 12"x25'....ALL for
$12! We "tool" on it with sharp pencils, front and back. Goes a long
way!!!! You can find other kinds of foil on this catalog page also. Maybe
this is what you're lookin' for!! Hope this helps!!
