Actually I am cheating a little bit. My wife teaches art to grades
7-12 at a nearby high school and I am a minister. But I would like your
advice on a college or university with a strong art ed program and a solid
liberal arts program. My daughter presently attends a college with a
superb art program and a very good art ed department but the academic
quility of other liberal arts courses is quite weak. She would like to
develop a solid understanding of western history and civilization and the
environment as well as be a good artist and participate in an art ed
program with a depth of lively offerings.
If you have a suggestion, please tell me why you are convinced this
school's programs are strong. If you could share the name of someone who
is involved in the program with whom we could email that would be a great
help too.
Thanks for your help!
