Hi Frances, and all

I have always loved recycle art. I don't always have the room to store the stuff for my students to do as much of it as I would like.

On IAD, Judy Decker has a section on recycle art, my students work is posted there. A cereal box quilt, birds and birdhouses from boxes and packaging, and lower down on the site, a "trashquarium" woven walmart bags for the ocean, rug from a neighbor's trash for the sand, etc. We also made a trash art castle that I have to dig out pictures for so that Judy can post them also. (Love IAD and Judy !!!!!)

Each year for Earth Day our local paper sponsors a show at the local mall of Trash Art. I am proud to say that my students won cash awards on two different years.

I can't wait to see what elseĀ our incredible art teachers on this listĀ come up with !!!!

Christine Besack :)
