Hello Richard (and all),

Thanks for re-postinjg your copyright post. I saw your post a while
back and thought you had some good things to say - but no one
responded to it at that time.

If you are not receiving the entire digest - go to the Getty
TeacherArtExchange site. Check your preferences for the list. You will
have to enter your email address and your password. See if you clicked
to receive the entire digest or just the index. With the index, all
you will receive is a list of what was posted - not the messages. You
might also check to see how you requested the digest. There is a
choice of "mime" and one other form. When I was receiving digest (on
one of my accounts), I selected "mime" and that worked fine.

Hope this solves your problem.

Note to all who receive digest:

Rather than clicking reply to digest, please open a new email to
TeacherArtExchange list. Put this address in your contact list:
teacherartexchange@lists.pub.getty.edu

Write a subject line that agrees to the post to which you are replying
and copy and paste a short blurb from the original post. Please do not
post member email addresses. Getty went to great lengths to revise
this list several years ago. They removed all of our addresses that
their system automatically posted and now the software no longer posts
our addresses when we post. However, individual members are posting
our addresses when they post. This is not a problem for folks who post
infrequently..... But for members like me who post a lot, it can be
bothersome. Emal bots harvest our addresses from Getty list archives
and then our addresses are spoofed by spammers. Our address then gets
sent to Black lists/Spam cop and the like. When we want to send
personal mail to members, our messages do not get through as they are
caught in Spam folders on their servers. One long time member never
responded to my emails to him... .lo and behold, he discovered my
posts had been trapped in a spam folder on his server. Hard telling
how long that had been happening. I know my posts were not getting
through many school servers. I was beginning to feel that posting to
Getty list was a waste of my time.

Regards,

Judy Decker
