Yeah, especially a meal like Thanksgiving dinner that takes days to prepare and 15 minutes to
eat!

I think it4s hard in our culture to accept the fleeting nature of things, which Navajo
sandpaintings, Tibetan mandalas and these kolams represent. Doesn4t it seem that in Western
culture we desire permanence, or at least objects we can hold onto? Instead of simply
enjoying a sunset and being in the moment of it, we take endless pictures of it.
